Hello to everyone!

Since I've started high school, I've noticed how visually inclined people are!

It seems like the only thing so many teens worry about is their appearance!

(It gets really annoying, by the way.)

In my lit class there's one girl who was brushing her hair all through class.  (even though her hair looked fine before)  

Then there are other girls who dowse themselves in expensive perfume, for whatever reason.  It makes it so hard to breath!

I'm the kind of girl who will pick a comfortable t-shirt, jeans, and combat boots.  The kind of girl who will put her hair into a simple braid, instead of ironing, curling and destroying it.

So many people are judged by their appearance, which, sometimes, is something they cannot help!

What I'm trying to say is: however you act to the contrary, you are just a kid.  So enjoy your youth!  You don't have to act like an adult or have a million dollar pair of shoes to make a statement about yourself!

All you need to do is remember these three things: be yourself, be happy, and know that you don't have to change because of what someone else says.  

Be happy with who you are, and enjoy life, because you only get to live in this moment once.
